External Drivers
External drivers are all factors causing oceanic change that arise from outside the ocean.
They are used for predictions and projections. An obvious application is for ocean modellers who require particular scenarios and the accompanying forcing data to simulate predictions and projections. The scenarios are also useful for comparing and contextualising observations.
